Keri came in about 15 minutes ago fussing about the traffic then started in me. Wanted to know why I was not ready to go. I looked at her and said I never said I was going with you today. They can't turn in the DEER's paperwork until she gets the marriage license recorded. Also, there was a major screwup because the minister that married them was supposed to mail the signed license back. So, it has to be hand-carried. I just hope the clerk will accept it from Keri this morning. He had 7 days, today is the 8th day. I got an empty Starbucks coffee cup thrown at me when I suggested she was now living in sin!

 

Beautiful morning here 63 degrees dew point of 54 gravy on my breakfast life is good. The rumors of mosquitoes from someone who isn’t in the area are unfounded. I’m looking forward to another day of working on old arn.

 

I now feel like a dang fool. I called the minister that performed the wedding after writing that last post. He said he made a copy of the form signed the copy and gave it to me. He has already mailed the form back and the document should now be ready for pickup. He made that copy in case the original got lost. Now they can go to the ID place on Ft Eustis and get her enrolled in DEERs and at some point, she can also go wait in DMV to get her license changed.
