    There are a lot of 2 lane hwys in Texas that have 75 mph speed limits. I was on US 96 between Tenaha and Jasper last week and a lot of that is 75. As is US 380 in West Texas.
    Except for a few little towns and some RVers that slow me down temporarily, I make almost as good time wise as on the interstate there. Unlike here in Arkansas with their silly 55 mph limits on the 2 lanes.
