    Welp.
    I wanted to get passed Tulsa.. Elog said, “Wtf, you know this ain’t happening today, or tonight, right?”

    So I’m stuck at Loves at NoWAtA, guess they don’t got water, showers (2 of them) one closed, yellow crime tape.
    Plus radio just said starting at 7 they going to do lane closures on 169 by Tulsa.

    I’ll jump outta bed... ok I’ll roll.. I’ll wake up early and get going.
    Subway sandwich just to be sure I get up early.

    The way things are going...

    My brother is 75 yrs old, a retired Army officer and die hard conservative. After his wife passed a few years ago, he sold everything in Texas and moved to be near his grand kids and sons. Ended up in Eugene Oregon and shortly after bought a Subaru. I have yet to give him a bad time about it but someone else my have as when we last talked he said something about trading it for something else. And I'm pretty sure it won't be a BMW.

    Today Missus Skillet and I went to see "Top Gun:Maverick" at the local thee-A-ter...

    "Discount Tuesday".......Six bucks apiece.

    We enjoyed the movie very much. Nice to see it on a big screen.

    After that, we went to a Mexican restaurant. I KNOW it's "Taco Tuesday", but I had tacos at home last night, so I went with the pork enchiladas verdes.

    I gotta admit, I'm getting a little "antsy" at the house, looking forward to start the new gig on Monday.

    I've just been informed that there's a half pint of Coconut Chocolate Chip ice cream in the freezer, and I've been tasked with finishing it. Later!
