You can always count on Cummins to promote from within. She has earned it; very smart woman and has demonstrated success.

I don't se a problem with her, What are you seeing different?

    From: Jennifer Rumsey - Biography
Presently, Jennifer W. Rumsey is President & Chief Operating Officer at Cummins, Inc. She is also on the board of Hillenbrand, Inc. and Member of The Society of Women Engineers, Member of Hydrogen Technical Advisory Group, Member of SAE International (Michigan), Member of Women in Trucking Association, Inc. and Member of First United Methodist Church of Columbus. In the past Jennifer W. Rumsey occupied the position of Principal at Nuvera Fuel Cells, Inc. (Massachusetts) and Principal at Cummins Turbo Technologies. She received an undergraduate degree from Purdue University and a graduate degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Looks like she has the education and back ground to lead the company towards it's long goals. Unless that is the problem you see? Cummins will continue to evolve, it is either that or perish to a footnote in history/trucker counter talk.

    So.

Dentist had assistant take X-ray of broken tooth.
Came in later looked at it, said
    “OMFG, does that hurt?”
    me “No.”

Dentist pokes it, and the teeth next to it, “How ‘bout now?”
    me, “No.”

Dentist takes some kinda metal deal, hits tooth, “Now?”
    me “Nope.”

    Dentist, “OMG, he’s in shock!!”
Me “Just pull these sob, it’s f up. Poking it with a stick ain’t gonna make it go away.”

So he wrote a prescription for antibiotics, wanted to know if i wanted pain pills, i’m like, I told you, it don’t hurt.
So Scheduled me for the 15th to pull two(the other i knew was bad) at $185/each.

I’m like, Hold it, no discounts?
I mean I’m already gonna be given a shot, so that’ll save one shot, one needle, etc.

So, as if a few days dealing with this wasn’t enough, let’s go a week from Monday.

You know, I read somewhere the other day that Hoss Cartwright was the first man.
