    I can't speak for others, but......

    I have heard of .22-250
    I have never used it.
    My rifle is not particularly scary-looking, and is chambered in 7.62x39.

    I may have missed the point of your post........

    Well..

    I got some kid in trouble with, I’m assuming was his grandpa.
    We’d went to a restaurant and I had to go to bathroom and it was hot in there, no air and the window was painted shut so the smell hung in the air.

    I was back at the table a few minutes when this older couple and kid of 10 ish came in, old man said he had to go to bathroom, the kid said him too.

    Few minutes later kid comes out, sits at their table.
    Old man goes in, comes out, sits down and says, “I outta just whip your ###.”
    the kid said,”Wasn’t me! it stunk when I went in there..”

    By then i’m laughing, and they thought i’d overheard the conversation, as they were at table next to us..

    Isn’t life full of surprises.
