Stopped at Eddyville at Hicks and got a Pizzs.
Ate with truck off, saving our resources for the children, ate half, got my 30 minutes in, went to start ole Red, nothing, nadda, no click no sound.

So I’m like, “WTF Red??! Why youse gonna do me like dis!!!”

So I tried two or three times.
Then I thought this thing outta do something.
Oh a whim I put it in only gear it’d go in, being 4th, back to neutral, it grunted then nothing.
So I started moving gear stick back and forth, and finally it started.

Kinda like the old neutral switches.

So Rec and I have 153 miles to destination but not knowing or finding a fuel stop nearby, 100 miles til I’m parked.
Ole Red has me not wanting to turn it off now.
