What if it Snows?

They do a "sandsculpting" contest at the Neptune/Boardwalk Festival up in Va. Beach.

It seems the tourists like to dig deep holes in the sand when they come visit my sandbar. Towns are talking about fining people who leave their holes unfilled. We can drive on some of the beaches here. It seems giant and deep holes in the sand have a way of ruining someone's day when their putting along on the beach in their cars/atvs(life guards/cops) & trucks. Stop being stupid people! Fill in your holes!

They used to have a contest here on the sandbar, but haven't herd about it in a few years.

Last night Keri came by on her way back home. I had this song softly playing when she came in. Keri mentioned it was a shame that Judith Durham has passed away. I guess with my health problems I missed the news of her passing. I have had the pleasure of meeting her several times since the 70s. I also met her husband before he died. I was just looking at the floor in shock. It sucks as I age and hear more and more people from my younger days passing away like this. As I watch this video I am also reminded by her hairdo of my mother. I have many photos of her with her hair made up that same way. When my mom was a child and even after she married my dad she kept her hair tied with ribbons.



Also, Keri is coming back later to help me get some groceries and have lunch. We are going to get this Clarksville thing solved today.

 

Wake up call…. 0600- midnight should be enough hours to be enough for a days work yesterday.
