Had a alternator bolt break. Common on Series 60. It backed out and rubbed a pin hole in coolant tube. Belts were loose and alternator wasn’t charging. Time was 2200. Was going right by Freightliner. Open till midnight. Gave me a free bolt. Wrong one. Didn’t have or couldn’t find something that worked. Gave me a hose clamp for free as well. Mine were all too big. Hodgepodged a temporary fix to get the load delivered. I should take a pic. It’s ridiculous. From now on call me……

 

Going to give it a run sounds good to me

 

Had a alternator hold arm break on a small block chevy on the way home in the middle of no where. Broke out he tool box stared in it and grabbed a double box end wrench instant replacement alt bracket
