Question; What has happened to good bread? The kind that had texture, chew and flavor. Something that could stand up to a good sandwich. Made good golden crispy toast. Could sop up gravy. Seems now, all you can find is some sort of flavorless mushy substance they claim is bread.

It is one of the good things about up here. Franz the huge regional bakery actually makes good products. When they acquire another local bakery they try to stop the overlap with existing product and focus on the things that make that bakery noteworthy enough to bring into the portfolio.

lol, The man wears a military-issued sidearm. I doubt he would even say the CIA exists! He works for the man that helps protect that 900-pound gorilla in the TRADOC command HQ as well as the Initial Military training command who runs the Ft Eustis garrison. Yes, I know Ft Eustis is owned by the chair force but they do still have an Army garrison there. His replacement has been named and has already moved into a vacant office. SIL has already got most of his things out of his office. Their planning a get-together at Ft Eustis next week for him and Keri. I was informed I was invited and attendance was mandatory Keri said she will call the MPs and have me forcefully brought there. Oh well, who am I to turn down a free meal? Who knows I may get to shake the hand of a 900-pound gorilla!
