-8 here in the Greater Dayton area, with winds 20 to 30 mph.
The house feels okay, temperature-wise, until one sits down or otherwise remains stationary.
Then, one feels the drafts.
Missus Skillet and I had discussed the need to get the plastic up on the inside of the windows, but it kinda got lost in the shuffle of the lead-up to Christmas.
Long story short, the frost on the window I was trying to look through, was on the INSIDE of the window.
So, we either melt all the ice off with a hair dryer, wipe up the water, THEN hang the plastic.....
.....OR, we wait until Sunday, when it warms up to 20, and hopefully the interior ice will be gone, and we can hang the plastic, OR.......
......we wait until Wednesday, when the temps are supposed to be back up in the 50s, the ice will be window sill puddles, and we can hang the plastic.
What if it Snows?

Our "furry grandson" is with us until after New Year's. Our son is flying to Minnesota with his girlfriend, to spend the Christmas holidays at her folk's house.
The poor kitty went to all his usual napping spots, and could no doubt feel the draftiness.
I got down on the floor to play with him, and the six inches above the floor is COLD. AIR.
So, he went back to snuggle in bed with Missus Skillet, and I'm going to put some more clothes on, and make myself some breakfast.
I might just go ahead and make the baked ziti NOW, so breakfast and dinner will be covered......austinmike, dwells40, thatsright and 11 others Thank this. -

Just depends what I find when I open it up. Still no water in the oil. At least on the dipstick Even sitting over night. I put 2 bottles of k seal head gasket repair when I left Kansas. That may have sealed it up just enough that it isn't mixing with the oil. But it's burning a lot of oil and a #### ton of blowby . drinking coolant like it's going out of style and pushing it out all the ends of the hoses and fittings from all the pressure in the system.. It's even blowing out of the coolant lines on the def tank and transmission. took 16 gallons to get it home.austinmike, dwells40, thatsright and 13 others Thank this.
