What if it Snows?

I miss Piggly Wiggly. There was one in Georgetown Tx, way back when my great gma lived there. I'd go and spend the weekend when I was a kid and we'd go to Piggly Wiggly. Good times.

And I believe that is why Publix never came to the Memphis area. Even with the camera wagons there has been a lot of carjackings, theft, and shootings in many areas around here, both in the shopping centers and in the main downtown area. We do not venture out after dark.

 

Supposed to be 100% chance of tain tomorrow.
Maybe i’ll stay home another day.
Still got a stack of old movies, though I’ve seen them all..

 

Years ago, I used to fly into Memphis every 3 weeks to visit one of our plants. After my first visit I decided the only place worse than Memphis was El Paso, and this was 25 years ago.

We would have moved when our son graduated from HS but this job was offered and the golden handcuffs are now keeping me here.

 

I've got a cousin that moved to El Paso Probly 40 years ago. He was a medical doctor till he retired. Not sure why he picked El Paso.
Went thru there at my first driving gig. During a sand storm was like something from another planet.

 

Dont look at me....Im just a poor retired guy living on a fixed income.....and #### proud of it!
