The 2022 final spreadsheet is nearing the end.

    THE GRUEL IS REAL

The OM had me input this one quarter and it didn't add up both ways. THE HORROR.

    The OM is not pleased.

Missouri to receive heavy, wet snow nearly statewide overnight and Wednesday

Travelers can expect wintry conditions starting late Tuesday and into Wednesday morning in most of Missouri.

Expect less than ideal conditions and a challenging morning commute period.

Forecasts call for up to 4 inches in north and central Missouri and 5 to 9 inches along and south of Interstate 44. Snowfall rates are expected to exceed 1 inch per hour at times along and south of I-44.

Crews will be out Tuesday night as conditions change from rain to a heavy, wet snow. This type of snow can make driving difficult. Please adjust your speed and following distance accordingly. Consider pulling off the highway to wait for crews to treat road surfaces at the first sign of slickness or when the actions of other drivers cause you concern.

Drivers are also urged to give snowplows plenty of room to work. Do not tailgate or attempt to pass. Plow drivers concentrate on the road ahead and have a narrowed field of vision. They are not likely to see other travelers and depend on you to respect their work.

In addition to traditional plow blades on the front, MoDOT uses wing plows attached to the side of some trucks. When snow is falling or when plows attack deeply covered lanes, it can be difficult to see the wing plow. Again, please do not pass a snowplow.

Updated road conditions are posted to the MoDOT Traveler Information Map as they become available. During winter storms, the map is updated around the clock.

    Guess who’s along I44.
