What if it Snows?

I recently had my first one and I’ll admit I was very nervous. I previously had a couple problems like a small amount of bleeding and things getting backed up so I was worried about cancer after all the abuse I’d subjected my body to from 27+ years of chowing down road food.

I can tell anyone who’s never done a colonoscopy that it’s not too bad. When you get into your 50’s and your doctor tells you to get one of these checks, DO IT. It really can save your bacon. Basically the prep is worse than the procedure itself. I came out of it with two very tiny polyps and a ‘round. (Sounds like a good joke….. two polyps & a roid walk into a bar….) I’m sure if I had wait a few years and blown it off I would’ve had those two polyps grow into a really bad situation. Don’t wait until you have severe problems…the inconvenience is far better than a slow painful death from cancer.

 

"Paid for" should not imply competence for use.
