Finally ventured in the remodeled and not fully operational local truck stop. Ordered a cheeseburger. 5.96. It was ok. Had better had worse. Several of those gambling machines in tge corner.
plenty of booze.
And a great selection of drug pipes.
And showers. Wonder what those will look like in a few months.

Made the mistake of reading some older pieces about that Embark company........

Looks like they were an H1B-centric software development company. Looks like the founders are just a variation on Elizabeth Helms.

Looks like they were writing software to use marginal, not optimized for market sensors and systems. Glad they are going under. No way that stuff was going to be safe on the open roads.

If they played their cards well, the founding kids are going to get out with a significant bankroll from the IPO though. Should be enough to seed/fund their next startup/scam.

I feel your pane.

My dad with arthritis was arrested for falling down while on a jog.

Apparently you can't roll joints in public spaces yet.


Two old friends meet up at a high school reunion, they start talking about people from their past.

"Hey, remember that flat chested girl April?"

"Oh yea, how she doing?"

"I just saw her like 15 minutes ago and now she's like this" - He holds his hands in front of his chest, fingers curled in.

"Oh, she got breast enlargement?"

"No, she's got severe arthritis"
