In case anyone is wondering, this does not work the same as the one in the Pete — retraining one’s self for the drive home sucks

Careful with that writing of checks now. People might call you an anachronism that needs to change to the new ways.

Called KW about the problem truck.
New injector (they only did one) helped it for a bit. They test drove it about 50 miles, ran fine.
Parked it and at idle the misfire code came back and went to missing again.

Now going to drop pan and check under this engine.

You remember correctly.. The logic as I understood, was the Left wheels; rotating forward, would tend to tighten/ keep tight a left hand thread.
Conversely, Right hand wheels; rotating forward would tend to tighten/keep tight a right hand thread.
All is lost on the old GMC tractor I started on. I sailed down into Morganfield, KY one afternoon and learned the truth of the statement....
When your lug nuts come loose and off, and the wheel drops off.. It will pass you... Whicky, whicky, there goes my left outside drive tire ahead and to the left, just sailing free.. You do not really notice it as such until it is about 30 feet in front, then clarity.. Budd steel 10:00 x 20, inside stayed on.
