    My mother in law was about as Southern as you get. She always said that grits can be to your liking by what you decide to add to them. I would always add their homemade ribbon cane syrup.

    She was right about the add-ins. I like to add butter, garlic and Velveeta cheese, or sometimes a whole round of Boursin garlic and herb cheese to the pot.

    Oh, it is OK. There were three reefers and a couple of dropped trailers on the incoming west side incoming receiving area.
