What if it Snows?

Should have sprang for the extended mileage warranty.

Yeah, I was gonna pick up some cake yesterday, but I'm still working on a box of locally produced, locally renowned Esther Price chocolates....

 

I was just thinking— old men are pretty much like those Ol B Model Cats — hard to start on cold mornings, like starting fluid (coffee/beer/whiskey), runs hard all day when warmed up correctly and don’t have a problem idling for extended periods , overall very dependable until improperly treated

 

I don’t walk like a crab, my attitude may be crabby, more like a bowlegged mule rider.

 

Not that hard to get out, just open the door and lean. It’s when you hit the ground that’s hard.

 

So, a broker i haul for a lot, which lately is getting hard to get ahold of, had me on another load out of indy after i unloaded, about 100 mile DH.
I got my pay invoice and one load they paid $2/ton difference than what was on rate con, another load for 1450 not paid at all.
Called him (before 5) and he didn’t answer, sent text then he called right back when i said i was calling corporate.

So now, haven’t heard anything and i parked at TA north of indy off 65.
I’ll just sit parked right now

 

That reminds me. My wife bought a Troy-Bilt snowblower from her parents neighbor awhile back. It's a couple years old, been used four times because the man wasn't sure enough on his feet to operate it in the snow. Need to go pick it up I suppose.

 

Back to where I started this morning. I did stop at the 201 and pick up a quart of stew. I have a good beer and mediocre hot sauce. All is well
