Caught up. Did another hated chore today. Greased the front end on the Silverado. Before I did anything, I made sure I had a functioning grease gun. There is a brand new mini grease gun laying on the side of 285 in west tx. Couldn't get a drop of grease out of the thing and threw it out the window.
    So.
Retrieve grease gun out of cabinet in the house. Theoretically to keep the grease from melting and running all over half the world. Well that didn't work. Had grease all over the TWO plastic bags it was in.
Take it outside and it works sporadically.
    So.
Remember i have a brand new one hanging in shop. Open it up and install the one cartridge I have on hand. Miraculously it works. Take off front wheels and there is one (1) grease fitting on each side on the outer tie rod. Yay!
Next up is the Blazer of Trails. It has a bunch of fittings.

I’ve had a grease guns accidentally get launched or smashed with a sledge. When they didn’t work. I swear it was accidental.

I have spent a lot of money at Rutters. Not only because they have truck parking but also because it’s expensive!

Finally got the last piece of hardware I needed to finish the Golf Ball Sleeve... The clasp to hang it from a golf bag.

Every truck stop is expensive. But Atleast this is different. Decent wok bowl. Rice is a little over done. But hey it’s not Dennys or roller dogs or peelot pizza. It’s a refreshing change.

Mom is doing better. Pain meds have kicked in. Still no specific plan for where she'll go next but I'm optimistic, especially since her health is excellent aside from this. She had many calls and a couple of visitors so she's cheery again.

Parked on the high plains having escaped Denver for the second time this week. I think I drove through a bit of the Canadian forest fire smoke today, so now it's like my dad used to say: I'm backwards, my feet smell and my nose runs.
