    About 1k over on his steers isn’t he? You would definitely qualify as an “Outlaw”

    Greta has values???? When did that happen??? That daughter of a crackwh...I mean..poor victim of drug pushers and mysoginistic men, oppressed by the patriarchy and forced to give birth to her crack addicted daughter by religious zealots. I really have serious doubts that she actually has values...she is just a budding attention wh...ooopss... I mean attention starved victim of the media.

    There is no such thing as a 12,000# steer axle weight limit. My guess it come from the fact that 34k+34k=68k. Then 80k-68k=12k. Drivers just assume that 12k is the limit.

    But in reality the actual weight limit for a single axle such as the steer axle is 20k.

    From 67 FR 23315 SS 658.17(c):
    The maximum gross weight upon any one axle, including any one axle of a group of axles, or a vehicle is 20,000 pounds.

    Yeah.....I've always been over 12k on my steers and never got a ticket.
    Plus, I don't think reworking the trailer is going to do much for your steers.

    No I don’t think so either. He probably needs to leave his pet Brahma bull that rides shotgun at home if he wants to get under 12k on his steers.

    I assure you that if the rating plate on your truck says 12K its 12K.
