Which is very strange as one young man walked in in 1980, said I want to learn how to work on lift trucks. He started; married our secretary, and called me yesterday. I had called him to remember which way the backing plate seal in an old Clark oil clutch turned to seal engine to trans. First thing he said was: "Theresa said ask RJ when he is gonna open back up?. (We opened in 79. he on in 80, we sold and closed it in 93)
Whe he gave his notice to come to us, his then boss asked where he was going. He explained and was told. "Alright, if you can work for Roger, you can work for anybody. And you will be OK, as Roger J. knows how to make money."

Don’t usually listen to his stuff, heard this one several years ago, didn’t know it was him when i heard it on radio.

 

DH Starkville, MS to Clarksdale. Load cottonseed meal to Tampa dairies. Load in Lakeland. FL with Cross Country (fruit) to Red Owl in Minneapolis.
Drop back to Osage, IA and load eggs to NYC. Out on Long Island and load LI potatoes to ATL. Pickup a load of "hot freight" to Orlando. Load fruit in Lakeland and back thru Starkville, get paid/service tractor, do it again.
