Ya know @Judge...The scenario you outline along with the Dude reminds me of how way back these kinda went. Guy hired to drive, can shift it and aim it between the ditches, make it go backwards, But don't have the hang of just making it all flow......
Hangs on, takes his licks, causes all sort of irregular problems, but, dam...
It all comes together and the owner actually comes to depend on the fool a little and years later the newer dudes are going thru the same finishing process...
