When they ask me about the payment, I tell them something unrealistically low. I make THEM scramble to figure out how to make the deal work. Then I slowly let them talk me up to a realistic amount. That way, they have to give me something to keep me in the deal.

At least both eyes are open, usually one about half shut and looking ####eyed.

Well, my pride took a hit today. Got stuck on a hill in the snow. Back road. Put the chains on and it just dug into road. Almost slid backwards into a fella’s mailbox. He helped chain up and spread the cinders when the truck finally arrived.

You would think a narrow country road with an active frac going on would be a priority for snow maintenance. Nope. Three of us were stuck in different places. And where was my salt bucket????? In my garage. Failed hard today.
