On fngs trailer had 1 axle new brakes,
then ac compresser out, plus do PM.
changed 2 shocks, in truck, one starting to leak plus other side.
bill was $2200 and change.
Wrote a check, Wednesday.
Today they call, we screwed up on bill, you owe another $900 something.
We misfigured.

Dont believe that works in trucking,
You musfigure a rate sheet, you can’t go back and ask for more, and say we’ll email you what else you owe, you’re kinda sol.

LOL when I pay an invoice I consider it a final invoice and "Paid in Full".

I do not do "Paid to fool"

 

I had them write paid in full, and put check number on there.

There are 2 questions to ask yourself at the point.

Whats probability you will use that shop again?

Is the missed part of the bill legit?

If they forgot to invoice you for a $1k part, I would consider paying it. If I did not pay for a part I received, that's a moral call of borderline theft. I'm going to have enough to discus with Peter when I get there. Wouldn't want that discussion on the table.

 

Yeah, parts are one thing labor is another entirely. I'd think about the parts, as for labor, well it sucks to be you.
