Reminds me of one of the more interesting loads I hauled. Was a load of a bunch of returns at a Lowes D.C. in Ohio to some place in the Central Valley of Cali.

Receiver was basically a wholesaler selling to thrift shops and flee market vendors. According to the husband of the owner, my full 53' trailer was about the equivalent cubic feet of what they would sell every week. He figured that most of the stuff would be sold within a couple of weeks and they would end up either toss, recycle, or donate (for a tax deduction) about 10% of the product that had no value.

Woodford is a good Bourbon. It is in our cabinet. Like it quite well. They also make a malted whiskey that is quite good. If you ever get out to Kentucky, I highly recommend taking the distillery tour. Just for the smell alone.

Here is something you might like to try.
    What you will need.
    A small bowl
    A rocks/ high ball glass
    A few ice cubes.

Take the bowl and fill about half way with hot water. Not boiling. Set the rocks glass down inside it. What you are trying to do is make the glass very warm. Pour a good shot ( maybe a solid double ) of the bourbon in and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then swirl it around and take a few tasting sips. Wait a few minutes more and try it again. Let it sit for a bit more to cool down. Then drop in 1 or 2 ice cubes (depending on size) Swirl it around and taste again. Think you might be surprised at what you find.

When I did the tour, at the end, you get a sample shot. I asked for some ice, the host said that was interesting, because the master blender put an ice cube in when tasting.

If you like the woodford, you may also like the Elijah Craig small batch.

Goes something like this..... Some later posts in the Comments re-his demise...

In the warrant, the ATF claims that Bryan Malinowski purchased numerous firearms that he resold without a firearm dealer’s license. He bought 150 pistols and resold them for cash. He checked a box on the purchase form that he was buying the gun for himself. 6 were connected to crimes.

The warrant has been released. In the warrant, the ATF said that Bryan Malinowski purchased numerous firearms that he resold without a firearm dealer’s license. He bought 150 pistols and resold them for cash. He checked a box on the purchase form that he was buying the gun for himself. 6 were connected to crimes. He shot first and officers returned fire. An upstanding citizen selling guns to anyone with cash.
