be sure to drain the carburetor bole too. After a few years sitting you probably have a good amount of water that condensation there.

 

Diesel,propane,ect fuel type generators don't have a carb. Gas ones do. I run a storage fuel when not in use. Keeps carb,ect from gumming.

 

If it was me I’d do like @4mer trucker said drain it and get some clear gas in it and I’d get a can of Seafoam and put a little in the fresh gas and run the piss out of it before the hurrycan strikes

 

Do you bring that inside in the winter ? If so, do you trim it back?
I'm gonna try and overwinter mine.
