Was it @homeskillet that was on about peanuts???

These were $2.50 a bag at Fry's. They got a batch in, so I scored several bags.

I had a favorite pothole it was on the South side of Grapevine. Hit it every week. Never failed, every week....

When it tains, it pours. Headed home, new battery is working correctly. Five miles from home, the CEL pops on and the D light starts flashing.

I find my trusty OBD scanner and pull up the 2nd gear pressure switch fault. Pop the hood and sure enough, there is some fluid underneath it. So, although it's a pain in the ###, i get it out, go to the parts store and get a new one for the low price of 53.99 plus some brake parts cleaner.

Clean the pigtail with the parts cleaner, contort my hand to fit back in there and tighten it with a deep well 7/8 while receiving a few 1st degree burns.

Everything is back together, code is cleared and it is working like it should on the test drive. Still gonna get plenty of sleep before I have to get up at 430 tomorrow morning. Maybe Tuesday won't be so expensive.

Didn't those originally have notoriously week frames that flexed too much?

Looks like a good engine got a descent chassis. As long as it puts a big grin on his face I'm good with it.
