Not really.
Been barking a lot lately.
I’d have to carry him to water bowl, even if you brought it near, he’d get confused and bark.
Then before he died, he raised his head and barked twice.
Then lay head back down in his bed and died.
Then of course lie there and twitched a bit while nerves settled… Yes humans do that too… kinda unsettling.

Sorry for your loss, I don't do well losing pets, I had a hound that started going off one night so the wife let her out, could hear her for a couple hours while tracking her, then she went silent (bad) picked the trail up about 2 miles away could where she went in the river but never picked up where she came out. I walked about 10 miles of river that day.
