Sea Foam is your friend. i\If you leave any in it, add a shot glass full. As soon as revived, add twice direction and run a tank full.

Uh Huh... Abought dark separating the men from the boys will begin. And several will be driving the same spec'd model, but wind up miles apart 6 hours later...

 

Just plain ole pump gas. I normally shut the gas off and let it run until it quits. Pump gas is alright for 6 months. Maybe up to a year with some seafoam or stabil in it. Main thing is to get it out of the carb. Either run it dry or drain the bowl.
