. Santa doesn’t deal in large caliber sorry to say nothing beyond red rider BB guns.

 

I guess a fish taco is out of the question too. Lol

 

You find a decent catfish (TN Channel cat) place that make its own hushpuppies, then you will equate it with the BBQ's you have referred to.

 

Always did mine: Beat up an egg. Put a cup or two of cornmeal in a paper grocery sack, add .5 tsp black pepper and .5 tsp salt.
Shake the sack to a good mix. Cut the fish cross ways. Drag the pieces thru the egg, drop in sack, shake it all up. Drop in near boil grease and let cook till floats. Drain off on paper towel....
Have someone else chop up a big onion, put it in the bag and shake. Dump out in a bowl, add milk to wet mix. Wet a teaspoon, dip and drop in the grease still hot. Hushpuppies.
