No, I’m running west a lot less now. I used to pretty much run Carolinas to OR and WA then typically to PA then home to Florida. Would do it twice a month. For the last couple years I just haven’t seen the loads and the ones I see don’t pay enough..Maybe I should have bought a Volvo so I could have run for $1.20 per mile :)

This time I scored a great load to WA..probably the pending snow storm had something to do with the higher rate that I got.. Even coming out of WA I really did well..now sitting outside Orlando waiting to unload and go home.

Got really lucky with the planets aligned but it seldom happens anymore.

Lately just doing what I need to, to get a decent rate..going places I normally wouldn’t and appointment times I’d rather pass on.

For me running I-29 & I-90 is where I like to be.

Well— I was going to watch a little of the playoff game but when I turned it on The Skank was the first thing I saw then they showed a Sasquatch singing the national anthem so we’ll find something else to do

That would be a pretty nice triangle, with enough country to help reduce the monotany! I hope it picks back up for you.

I done went and chewed the NFnG out.
He been driving now a couple months, quit bringing truck by like I asked every weekend so I can go over it.
Told him truck was about halfway needing brakes, but I really wasn’t going to run that truck, it was a spare. He said he’d grease it and check it. Keep eye on it. I knew he wouldn’t so today I drove 38 miles to where he parks in my pickup to do random check.

here what i seen real quick, besides the license plate about to fall of where its been bent back, one bolt holding it, wollered out and about to fall off. I fixed it.

This is with him taking care of things he sats, I say he won’t even change wiper blades.
I told him truck out of service, shocks shot on trailer too, 3/4 leaking.
He wanted to know if he could drive mine Monday, needs to work, I told him heck no.
I gotta take dad to Dr appointment at 11 Monday so it’ll be brought in, he can go home, I may be done working on it Tuesday. If I don’t find anything else, I quit looking after that.

You need to send him packing. Your name is on the line when his antics go sideways. He’s lazy and a liability
