Hope to be below any snow/ice, will have 15 degree cold. My girls in Lexington; and SIL in Versailles, KY will suffer. They still have some from last week.

@Judge.. I don't think there are any left like we used to be. Was driving something; wanted something better,,, Bigger/stronger truck (an A'car w/200 Cummins), longer runs from MS/AL toward (TX, NM, ND, SD,NE,MN.) varying product to see different operations over the country. Wasn't to concerned on the pay rate, just that it was honest and there when we came in for it. Curious about what was down the road in ?? State...

For that, the owner got a man who went and returned, took care of the equipment, and the load and customer. Did not have to be "home" Friday by 4 and could leave Sunday morning or afternoon depending. But .young and single, an no financial obligations, So it worked out.
Is there no men (or women) out there, that are willing to show up, willing to work for the employer in what he does with what he has to use and stick with it long enough to prove themselves?

You gotta find you another young man who joist wants to drive and see the country and its industries, while getting paid to do it.

Well, outside lookin in that seems about right. It was pretty much the same when I stopped doing refrigeration, we couldn't get people that wanted to do the work, just wanted to cash the check.

Hank Williams JR song "Give a ####" comes to mind.
If that gets censored third word starts with a D.
