It’s not as bad as it seems...or is it?

Those links I posted above? Are mostly 12 volt so it reduces dependency on the inverter.

    LoSt_AgAiN and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

That would cost more in tires and brakes and grease, why would I want that?
I’ve got a harvest permit in MS good for a year, only on non interstate highways good for 100k.

Well I bucked and split a little more wood this afternoon with my son. Then when my daughter got home from school we stacked all the split.

This isn't even 25% of what I had delivered, and I figure I've got about 1 cord split and stacked here.

This is the first gift my wife ever bought for me... We had been dating for less than 1 month. I love them, but at the time I was very upset that she would get me something so expensive so soon in the relationship... Little did I know at that time how many hours I would spend over the years sharpening HER knives with it ... Lol

About a month if it is the only heat. If it is used to take the chill off the house maybe 2 months. Tho I seem to think he has about 10 cord to split and that pile is about a half cord

Hard to say as this house is insulated so much better than my old place... At the old place that would last around a month during an average winter... Maybe only 2.5 weeks if it sayed below zero the whole time.

I used to get through most winters on 4 to 5 cord, 6 to 8 cord in a really cold winter. I expect to use at least 25% less wood per year in this house... Maybe even as much as 35% less.
