I am still around. I no longer post here much once @Dave_in_AZ decided he needed to put me on ignore. I respect him, yet I guess he doesnt others. I gather he ignored me on my hissy fit I had on the now deleted piracy vids (now deleted), google has shown indifference, so that of which was posted is gone. Oh well. Many of you have seen I am only lurking in the accidents section of the forum now.
The tractor still waits for attention. I bought some quarter inch brakeline for the fuel supply. It sits in the door pocket of the pickup awaiting a warmer day. At the least I will know where to find it when I will start working on the tractor again in the spring? Otherwise when the tractor came apart the shut down cable that closed the injector pump came apart wrong. I can still use it. Tho I destroyed a clamp that held it in place. I can remake the clamp with the mill I have. Yet everything in my shop is being held up by something else.
What are the hold ups? Skip this part as it is long (I understand). I have the mill sitting in its crate. I cant set the mill up until I get the rear work bench cleared. I have started organizing all the bolts and junk that was piled on the bench to make room for the mill. Well everything is now in organized boxes that will hang on a wall. That means I need to build the partition walls. I have the lumber readyy for when I need to buld the walls. But first I must build some shelving to put it all on. The present shelf that is in the way when I tried to move it is on the verge of collapsing. No problem I thought. I will replace the shelf. I have made the ends from 2x4. I used some 2x4x12 to make two six foot legs. Cut up some 2x4x8 to make 15-7/8" long shelf supports. Bought some boarding board to make the shelves. When I cut the marked boards to size I found only 4 of them are the correct length. I need to attach an arm to the side of the compound cross cut saw so that I can set a stop. Then set the board on the saw, slide it to the stop and cut 12 boards to be the same length.
It is no longer warm outside. Ok it is 15F. My fingers dont work well below 35F. Old age is taking its toll on me. Weather isnt going to be polite the rest of this week.
Oh and my computer crashed last week. I thought I had saved all my passwords. Well I thought I had. I have most of them.Rideandrepair, LtlAnonymous, Speed_Drums and 8 others Thank this. -
So if I did get shut down low on fuel. They'd take care of it. They tell you that every day during grad class. Just call.

I am saddened by this tragic turn of events, that may have even led to the great computer crash of 2021.
Comes to mind..
Rodney Dangerfield did a good version, in “Back to School” but it has a bad word, a rotten word, an unthinkable even unimaginable dirty word, I was appalled.LtlAnonymous, Dale thompson, lovesthedrive and 2 others Thank this. -
The OM got me freight up the millionaire highway through central point. I looked for million dollar freight on the way...didn’t see any. I did stop twice for what I thought were $100 bills blowing on the freeway, turns out they were just receipts from cash advances being made by the mega drivers.
I did see one truck that I thought had gold wheels, but they were just rusted to #### steel wheels on a POS hood.
In other completely predictable news it was raining on the coast in the PNW.
Lastly I keep hearing about this “mutant” strain of the virus. I expected Portland to be the epicenter. I didn’t see any mutants, just a lot of people of undetermined political affiliation hustling to work.
Wait... check that.
I did see what I thought was Oscar the Grouch from Sesame Street, but it turns out it was a mostly naked hairy guy living under a bridge who was poking a dead raccoon with a stick. He did have a red hat on, but it said Bumweiser or something.
