    That’s great!! My daughter just got the Job She’s been after. It’s good to see them prosper from hard work. She was contemplating a 3 week notice. Told her 2 is good enough, take a week off. Enjoy it now. Start fresh. They owe her 18 hrs vacation pay. Dad said relax. Take a break, you deserve it. Quickly agreed. Lol.

    Figure of speech, like Hen Pecked, Mule kicked, BAD ( meaning good) and my favorite one Grandma used, Split tail. Not sure if it came from a depiction of a Devils split tail, or something else, not mentionable in Church. Strange, meaning unknown, but wanting to know. I’m sure you’ve heard them all, and many more, Lordy Mercy!!

    I am waiting for all these kids to realize the ride is over. You want the toys. We must work for them. You want to sit on your bum, you can do that in the street. Tho I also think not enough companies really want workers. There has been a change in employers over the last 15 years. There was a time when a person could walk to a grocer and ask for minimum wages pushing a broom. Now the employers have other ideas of what it means to have workers.
