That is a very good point. And I will definitely consider all the pros and cons before making any decisions. I’m definitely happy where I am currently, all things considered. I’ll probably try to hit at least one full year with SNI. All things taken into account, they’re treating me very well and I appreciate the opportunity they’ve given me here.
What is good pay? And what’s fair now in trucking?

Picked this up Thursday at noon. Deliver it tomorrow morning. 1100 miles.
It's worth about $2300 to The OM after fuel.
Call The OM when you get a year in.

Fuel hauling for a newbie means 12 hour days, sometimes more, no weekends or holidays off until some senior guy retires or dies. Because of the long days you should live close to where you start your job every day. The loading terminals are not chummy lounges until maybe after they see you aren't going to level the place by stupid a accident. Tanker is the place to go, but it's not care-free & casual.hope not dumb twucker, rollin coal and Chi Town Steers Thank this. -

....close to where you start your (fuel) job every day?
Been there....seen/done that.
Close = 25 - 30 minute commute....or less.
Anything longer =
