    That is a very good point. And I will definitely consider all the pros and cons before making any decisions. I’m definitely happy where I am currently, all things considered. I’ll probably try to hit at least one full year with SNI. All things taken into account, they’re treating me very well and I appreciate the opportunity they’ve given me here.

    I have only heard near 150 or more. From UPS. Cryo teams. And out west gas haulers. California.... Crude oil I don't know what that pays now. Everything is economy dependent.

    I’m hoping the economy starts heating up in the next year or 2. That would align well with my experience timeline. Give me 3 or 4 years hopefully of boom times to make some bank!

    Here.

    Picked this up Thursday at noon. Deliver it tomorrow morning. 1100 miles.

    It's worth about $2300 to The OM after fuel.

    Call The OM when you get a year in.

    Not after operating costs,
    After operating costs that’s about what a mega carrier pays.

    Some hazmat companies watch you on the road and at customers without you knowing they are there. Safety is no act you pretend when the boss is around. It's the bare minimum to keep your job. Expect to do your job like you are starring in a safety video.

    Fuel hauling for a newbie means 12 hour days, sometimes more, no weekends or holidays off until some senior guy retires or dies. Because of the long days you should live close to where you start your job every day. The loading terminals are not chummy lounges until maybe after they see you aren't going to level the place by stupid a accident. Tanker is the place to go, but it's not care-free & casual.

    Haha yes indeed. I was just being sarcastic. I actually take safety seriously. I pre trip trailers fully twice every time. And I always go under and make sure the king pin is fully locked behind the jaws visible with a flashlight. Probably a bad joke on my part, but just a joke

    ....close to where you start your (fuel) job every day?

    Been there....seen/done that.

    Close = 25 - 30 minute commute....or less.

    Anything longer = :( :( :(
