What is the dumbest thing you've done while trucking?

nothing, Im a perfect driver....!

 

I got one . Long long time ago just starting out didnt know my my ### from my elbow, pulled up to a pump threw the handle up filled up the one tank i had at the time walked in to pay. The driver in front of me was arguing with the cashier that there was no way he put #### near 200 gallons in his drivers side tank........... yup i filled up on his satalite while he had the pump on. Paid him cash for the differance and beat out fast as i could

 

dumbest thing i ever did is getting a class a license

 

I've done that! Once. In the dark of night.. I was alone, but I embarrassed myself.

 

Dumbest thing I did was give my ex-wife my phone number.

 

Haven't done anything yet , but I have a feeling my day is a coming , and when it does . I will share. Lol

Edit ; oh , wait there was one thing kinda funny .

On one of my very first live load , I went in they said " ok , back into the door , and leave your doors closed" hum , ok easy enough , any how . When I got to my final , went gave them paper work , they said " back into door ## " ok easy enough .

Well I never opened my doors , hour later they called , and said " if you want us to unload you your doors have to be open "

Its not that funny , but it was because the lady was laughing so hard when she called me.

 

And she told me she was through with you . . . why, that $%*##@

 

I forget to turn the valve on my front trailer at least once a month and wonder why she is a NO GO.

Gives me more exercise.

 

Hopefully she's telling the truth for once.

 

I gave my girlfriend my wife's phone number.
