I once saw a Swift driver back into a tight dock on first try not using pullups or hitting anything. Started to look around to see if Christ was comjng back.

In seriousness...I saw a woman brestfeeding while she was driving. Also saw a cop car fly by me no lights on texting. Then watched as he flew across 2 lanes onto the shoulder in Memphis

I had been waiting a long time for my turn to back into a dock. The usual protocol at this customer is for the one finished in the dock to pull forward to clear the dock before closing doors and sliding tandems. This driver pulled forward just enough to block everything. Out of the cab climbed a small little white haired grandmother type who limped back and started closing the doors to her trailer. OK, I couldn't be too upset with a grandma, so I watched as she took her time closing the doors. Then she reached down and unlocked the tandems, got back in her cab and slid the tandems. All the time taking her sweet time. It was an air ride trailer and in our air ride trailers all one has to do is release the air brakes and the trailer tandems will lock in place. She gets out of her cab again and ambles back to lock in the tandems. OK, this amount of time is putting a burr under my saddle but I am trying not to let it show. As she climbs back into her cab she notices I am watching her. She closes the door on her cab, looks at me smiles a huge grin and laughs a heartwarming laugh like she just pulled the funniest prank in the world! Now, how can anyone be upset now? That warmed my heart and kept me chuckling the rest of the week.

I wish I had the opportunity to Thank her for brightening my day!

I have several favorite things. Like a parking spot that I don't have to blindside into. or a 12 once steak cooked medium rare. Also an attractive lady driver who smiles and waves.

Im one of those sick puppy's that love winter driving, and I saw too much too rember this winter. Stayed North and West for much of it.

My favorite journey though was probably US97 (I think) in Washington goes through that forest up above the i90. A lot of roads had just opened back up and 97 itself was still a bit on the slick side covered in snow. I was going through there and the snow fell off the top of the giant pine trees like an anvil and I couldn't see a thing when I got to it, it was one of the prettiest things I've seen.

A very attractive, well-stacked, drunk Hispanic girl flashed me on US 281 in San Antonio.
Seen a guy getting road head on US 77 north of Raymondville, TX.
Saw a guy on Mopac in Austin playing a mandolin while driving with his knee on the steering wheel.
Watched beautiful sunrises and sunsets in the desert SW.
Seen beautiful fall leaves along I-70 in eastern CO and western UT, and in northern CT / southern MA.
Seen all kinds of wildlife when I used to drive onto ranches to gather crude oil.
In the median of I-80 just east of Reno, I saw the aftermath of a bad car wreck: a severed human head that was about 10 feet away from the body.

And that's just while driving - we could do a whole nother thread about the stuff we've seen in truckstops, at shippers & consignees, and at the scalehouse...

Found myself having a Mexican stand-off with these 3. I ended up having to bump the one on the left because they were *not* going to budge....

Ice fit to scare off everyone else. Have the entire interstate to myself. A little sideways don't do no harm on those days. People stay home wisely on days like that. But I just am drawn to it like kryptonite. "You aint goinna..." does not mean you can't....

Had a pickup in a bacon place in north east miss during a epic ice storm. Over night sleeping was across a 4 way intersection atop a hillside where the wind gusts blew me a inch or two closer to the 4 foot ditch... figured come morning we will make it or not.

Once loaded it was time to get back up and over and gone from that town by then a complete and total silence of ice. Except one car that took all of 5 minutes to have a slow motion collision with my tire. Bump. No harm done.
