Was just curious what kind of mileage you guys are getting with the new aero trucks? I heard some guys are getting 9mpg but over on the west coast I'd have to say that's too good to be true. Coming from Washington to California I get 4.1 through the mountain passes and 6.2 on the California flats, average about 5.5 with a 379 Pete with a 6nz

I run an International LT pulling a Chemical tanker. Out loaded and back empty. From 80 miles each way to over 600. Lot of 2 lane roads, curves and hills, along with maybe 35-40% Interstates. Very few loads that I hit over 6.1 mpg for a round trip and it's usually closer to 5.7.

Here’s my high tech tracking system. Weekly, lifetime, and last 4 weeks. I had my 4 week average up to 7.82 a while back, but the hurricane force winds in the Midwest the last few weeks took me way down. I’m just now starting to get everything headed back the other direction. I can look back in my calendar and figure out a week I went to WA out of MN and see what it was.

Last trip just got back home had 3800 miles and was 34k going out on a 4 stop to east coast from MO and strait back with 32K got 7.8 MPG driving speed limit 65-72 Truck has a little over 10K. Will get into the mid 8's pretty easy on lighter loads doing speed limits of 65-70.

Edit: I have a drive van trailer with skirts

This was a round from the Midwest out to WA and back. If I recall I had roughly 40k on going out and 28k or so on coming back.

    7.8 lifetime in Blackie II

Much better mileage west of, and in The Rockies than in the Plains. Motherless wind is the killer.
