Been noticing a lot of mixed numbers fgoing around and wanted to check in and know what kind of rates are folks actually running for these days on OTR?
Not the load board dreams or recruiter fluff, I mean what real drivers are locking in per mile out here. I’ve seen everything from $1.80 to over $3 depending on lanes and consistency, but I know it's not that simple.
Are y’all seeing things level out? Or still chasing decent freight?
Just tryna get a real-world insight from folks out here. No drama, just discussion.
Appreciate any insights.
What rates per mile are y’all seeing for OTR lately?

$4.18 a mile on the year so far, not really otr but not really local either…
Rideandrepair, Siinman and Vampire Thank this. -
Oh that's good! You have dedicated lanes and routes?
-
Did $3.74pm on a 2375 mile load. Don’t ask. Ain’t telling NOBODY what or where. Not stupid.
Concorde, wulfman75, Arctic_fox and 2 others Thank this. -
I personally didn't ask for specific routes because I have my own consistent book of business that I deal with so we're good with that, just wanted to see what other's are working with.

Read the thread. Why do you expect your competitors to do your research for you? Most people here are running the same garbage spot freight for the same brokers as you are.Rookie driver 956 Thanks this.
