What RPMs should I be upshifting/downshifting at?

    There is no set in stone answer for upshifting. Just listen to the engine. The sooner you learn to listen to the engine, the faster you’ll get the hang of it.

    Down shifting can be a bit more status quo. I have a ten speed and downshift to 9th at 40 mph, 8th at 30, 7th at 25, 6th at 20, 5th at 10...
