What the hell is an mcs90 and do I need one for the truck cab?

    Been looking all over and cannot find a clear explanation of the mcs 90. I thought it would be included with the insurance packet from progressive but I didn't see anything with the mcs 90 label above it. Anyone able to clue me in on this thing I'd appreciate it.

    You do NOT need it in the truck cab, it’s more legal thing to keep in the office.

    I had the same problem once. It was buried in the actual policy, a big book of a thing. My understanding was it needed to be in the permit book on the Truck. To be honest, I haven’t worried about it in years.

    Got Me to wondering, myself. I looked it up. Only Carriers based outside the US, need it in the Truck. Otherwise just at the Office. Good to know,

    Colorado will ask for it at the scales when buying a hazmat permit, its still not required but it makes the process quicker.
