Let me rephrase it, I asked for a lumper fee thru a macro and their reply stated that it'll be deducted from my pay.

Osha regulations the employers must abide by. And many trucking companies losing lawsuits about this topic.

What in hades does OSHA have to do with "forced dispatch"? If my shipping lead says "we loaded your trailer with X, B. and D, need you to take it. I can say "well OSHA says different, bucko?"

I think you two are on different pages. “Forced dispatch” in the context of this thread has to do with whether or not the driver can choose to take a load or decline it and ask for another for whatever reason.

You don’t have a choice at most companies. If you have the hours to SAFELY & LEGALLY execute pickup and delivery of the load, then you’re expected to take it. That’s forced dispatch.

An employer can’t force a driver to do anything unsafe or illegal. That’s what you’re saying as I understand it. And, that’s true. But again, that’s not what is meant by “forced dispatch”. That’s just pure and simple illegal activity practiced by unscrupulous outfits.
