what to expect at yrc

Hey ACH, is it true that after 100 total days the terminal has to hire me? Or is it possible that I will stay part time casual for as long as needed then kicked to the curb?

 

I started full-time casual, and after a 100 days they put me on the union list. Now since your part-time that has me stumped... I would ask your shop steward that. Al the part timers at my terminal came on full time after proation

 

Yea I think its prolly just whenever a position comes open. I havent worked in 2 days now so far so I guess freight is slow, but he hired another guy that same day.

 

Freight is slowing down on my end too. Guess they are done building stuff. Didn't get my call last night. That's the thing about my carrier, they don't call us off... they just don't call us in.

No you have to be on the list.

freight is still crazy by me. Heck im even tuning off bid!
