Well I have two of them as starter batteries and they have been way better than any other battery on the market. Been all over the south and all over the north with them and no Issues. The old systems may have not been good but the ones I have are top of the line and have 10 year warranty. I use EPU with mine as well and last 3 times longer. Also I could care less where they are made, as all batteries are a hazard to the world just like everything else man made. Wish they were made here in the USA is the only issue I have with them.
What truck batteries do you use and how long do they last?

Here is a thread I started before I got them and updated as well after I bought them if interested. Ionic Lithium 12V Group 31 3000 CA LiFePO4 Heavy Duty Battery
-
Yep, and to be fair the warranty you got is a 5 year warranty and not a 10 year, at least it now is advertised at 5. Perhaps you got a 10 but they obviously realized there was an issue and changed to 5.
Maybe your Lithiums have performed well in the cold and heat for you….i can’t say but in general they do not last in the extreme cold or heat.
You also paid a pretty penny for those batteries and are not getting any better performance. Yes they are lighter than the Group 31 AGM’s but that’s about it.
The Terra Supreme Battery matches all of the specs, made in the USA, using 95% made in the USA material, is 99% recyclable in the USA, and is 1/2 of the cost.
If that isn’t enough then don’t complain when some towel head or Russian thug from Chicago is hauling freight at under $1.00/mile. -
Nah. The Alliance 925 CCA are still $80 here in Vegas at the Freightliner dealer.Siinman Thanks this.

Running Lithium in my Cascadia, have been for the past year.
2x Ionic start batteries Group 31 100AH with BMS and battery heaters (700$ ea)
4x LiTime Group 31 100AH for EPU and inverter setup, BMS only. (250$ ea)
Half the weight, Bluetooth monitoring, EPU batteries were half the price of an Odyssey AGM. Can turn off the start batteries with my phone, another notch in theft protection.
Extreme cold is the only issue these batteries have, but the heaters in the Ionic warm them up in 5 minutes. Have had them as low as 5 degrees in Green Bay, worked fine, at that temp your usually not turning the truck off anyways because gelling.
Heat has been a non issue, and I've run them in Houston 102 degrees for a week this summer.
Won't go back to lead acid again.Siinman Thanks this. -
And again, aside from being half the weight, no better performance than the Terra Supreme Battery that is half of the cost and made in the USA and has 105 Ahr.

Houston
Near the ocean where temps stay cooler.
Phx gets hotter. Or the southern border. -
Where can you buy those Terra Supreme Battery's? All the website has is investor relations, and a 15 page white paper that is written to make the companies product look better than the competition.
No mention of price or where to purchase. Just claims of "better". -
I gave you the sales guys contact info.
They do not sell through distributors, you deal directly with the manufacturer. Price is dependent on quantity but it’s under $500.
And again they offer the same Bluetooth monitoring technology as well as a battery disconnect that will prevent any drain. -
I get better cranking power, last longer, Has built in Jump Start. And ten year battery warranty because I bought when first came out. Lithium works just fine in the heat or cold. Only issue with them is charging in the cold but these have built in heaters with the best BMS and never a problem. Not sure how this has anything to do with cheap labor in the USA as this is nothing the $1 a mile club would own. Stick on the subject and stop projecting stupidity to make a point about a battery, just seems weird to even bring that up.
