Class b covers all straight trucks. Class a is for combination vehicles.

And here I thought I already said a class b covers any straight truck. Don't need a class a until you step into combination vehicles.

To be fair running it is harder than driving it... or at least way more stressful. Although I always enjoyed my time running cranes. If it wasn't for the crappy company I used to work for I'd still be running them.

Remember it's also the weight to determine what class license you need

Let's try a third time. A class b cdl will cover any straight truck ever made.

Guys this is not a difficult concept.

There are 3 classes of cdl
Class c single vehicle up to 26000 gvwr. Can tow a trailer up to 10k gvwr
Class b single vehicle 26001 gvwr up to as heavy as you can permit. Can tow a trailer no more than 10k gvwr.
Class a combination vehicle in which the unit being towed has a gvwr of 10001 lb.

    Blackshack46 Thanks this.
