    consider all those "slower traffic keep right" signs that are read and ignored or the one about keeping right except to pass. perhaps pj is correct and signs are merely suggestive now.

    but anyway.wonder how, and with what,that trailer was loaded to make it break as it did? the old adage "when in doubt,get on the gas" may not have been applicable in this situation.

    It is a safe bet the the driver involved was a newbie. I for one would have taken the sign out so there would be no doubt that it wasn't my fault.

    I think they average at least one or two a day. Most of the time they are just stuck. I heard the local tow guy makes $300 a pop yanking guys out.
