I carried a box of screws in the passenger seat to Home Depot the other day. Lol dispatch said to tarp it. Nah I’m good. Got the tarp pay though.

A drunk ex-girlfriend who I happened to run into. She asked if I'd drop her off at rehab.

    I should've faked a heart attack.

You'd be astounded at how much some pharmaceuticals are worth.
They usually don't #### around with any of that stuff either. I held a pharmacy tech license for several years, and some of the penalties/whatnot for even just messing something up are no picnic.

Oh I dont doubt the cost at all, I have seen prescriptions that cost several hundred for a single small supply and that 1 pallet could be worth more than any of our yearly salary. It still amazes me see something so small hauled in a 53 foot trailer though. Seems they could of done maybe one of those small FedEx trucks or something.

It just amazes me the prices they can put on a pill or even the difference between brand and generic with the same exact ingredients. I think there should be more government control and regulation in pricing but will never happen with all the money that gets thrown around.

    DeepSouthRollin Thanks this.

The strangest thing I have ever hauled is a refer with 50 human cadavers from a collection facility in Southern California to a distribution facility for Medical Schools in Chicago. They were in some sort of fluid to keep them preserved, which made the load placarded as HazMat and BioHazard.
I will never forget driving into the Arizona scale on I-40, stopping, and being asked "What are you hauling?" as I am handing him the paperwork. He paused for a good 15 seconds when I said "A trailer full of dead bodies". He then grabbed the paperwork, looked at it, and just said "Don't crash in Arizona, I don't want to read about bodies being strewn all over the highway, and it's your lucky day, I was going to pull you in for inspection, but I don't like dead things at my scale, get out of here".
