Somewhere between Chattanooga and Atlanta. UPS truck was parked on the side of the interstate.

My question too, tried searching all over and couldn't find a single news report or anything. Not saying it didn't happen , was only trying to read more about it......

Here is yet another example of "lousy paycheck transport" getting the performance they're willing to pay for...

I think this is the only way I would work with a trainer.....I am not going to sleep in the bunk while someone else is driving....especially someone spending time looking at their cell phone a lot. Bus drivers are not allowed to touch their cell phones, and I agree 100% with that rule.

The Dept of Labor lists trucking as a dangerous job for a reason. But that's no excuse for careless driving.
Guy driving is done. He's the kind of guy that deserves to be flipping burgers. Still your friend shoulda jumped off that truck or called safety or both. I can understand him not wanting to drive but it should be an important lesson of what happens when you don't take your #### seriously. I had a close call last year when I car cut off a truck in front of me and that truck ran over the car. It was not pretty. I took a few weeks off the road after that.

Did the UPS driver have his flashers on? Triangles out? If this was a 4 wheeler that hit the UPS truck you know the insurance company would find a way to blame the UPS driver.
