Parking is already a hassle, but is it going to get a lot worse come January?

It will be exactly the same. Unless, that is, everyone that is on paper and claiming to be legal isn't.
    HOS doesn't change....

    Probably.......

This is truly going to be a gamechanging ordeal.....

Me personally,I Will Not be switching to E-logs........My Operation will be under 100 mile radius come December IF its not repealed.

You Guys are really in for a stressful daily routine.......Shippers and receivers are Still going to be operating your typical 7am to 3 pm hours of operation,Meaning many of you will be Up and working in daylight hours....Come 4-6pm you guys are going to become blood thirsty over parking, Or Quit because of the Chest Pains.

The Highways and Byways are so congested already these days, Lets keep it going with an electronic Log that is known to add stress to an already stressful job, Keep the Mileage pay structure the same, And you'll be overjoyed with Success!!

Maybe local. Nothing like NOT having to worry about where to park the rig when it's getting late near the end of another 14 hour workday.

So many companies are on elogs now, I don't think it's going to be the mad house everyone thinks it will be. If my company is any indication, the hardest part is dispatchers and planners are going to have dispatch runs that drivers can do legally instead of relying the 'whatever it takes' group.

The only people thinking it's a huge deal are the guys still running paper. The rest of us are getting on with the job. Some of these guys will find out they don't know how to manage their clock, this is part of their job description and is not ELD's fault.

If anything, it will even out the playing field and slow down some of these supertruckers that have ####ed it up for the rest of us.

I can't wait until it happens, then all these chicken-little "the sky is falling" drivers will see how it really isn't worth the worry, and is no big deal, unless they're running multiple logbooks.

    A21CAV Thanks this.
