OK… I can admit when I'm wrong. I may have put my foot in my mouth. I don't mean to offend anybody. For me, going out and refusing to buy a good sturdy truck that I can operate at a low cost because I was looking for something sexy… That would be stupid. Again, if it's in the budget and the profit is there and that's what you like, to each his own, as gokiddogo said. I'm sorry… I get a little bit passionate when talking about how people handle money. Every day Americans buying things they couldn't afford is what caused our housing crisis. It is why our country is in so much debt, both at the government level and the household level. I fell prey to the employee mindset of thinking about money along time ago, and I'm waking up and finding it's just not true. I don't mean to begrudge anybody else working hard and being able to afford nice things that they want. That's the American dream. It's just that so many people are putting the cart before the horse--trying to get the milk without buying the cow. There's a wrong way and the right way to get "there", financially speaking, and buying toys first is the wrong way.
What would an experienced o/o buy?
